How we rate games and casinos

Two kinds of things get compared on SkyPlinko: games (Plinko versions, Aviator, JetX, Mines and the rest) and the casinos where you can play them. Each has its own checklist, and nothing on either list is a matter of taste.

Games: six checks

1. RTP as the studio publishes it, with the date we read it. If a studio offers several RTP versions, we say so — the casino picks which one you get.
2. Bet range: minimum and maximum stake per round in the provider's rules. Casinos can narrow it; they can't widen it.
3. Maximum multiplier or maximum win per round, word for word from the rules.
4. Controls that protect your bankroll: auto cash-out, auto play limits, the option to stop after a loss.
5. How the result is produced: provably fair (you can check the seed) or a certified random number generator.
6. An official free demo from the studio itself, so you can try the game before any deposit.

Plinko: the maths we add

For Plinko we go one step further than the studio. A ball that meets a peg goes left or right, so with n rows there are 2ⁿ equally likely paths and the chance of each bucket is the number of paths that end there. Multiply each chance by the bucket's multiplier, add them up, and you get the game's return. When our sum matches the RTP the studio publishes, the table is consistent; when it doesn't, we say so on the page.

Casinos: what decides the order

1. Canadian availability: the provinces the casino excludes in its own terms. Ontario and New Brunswick are the usual gaps.
2. Our games in the lobby: we open each game's page on the casino site and link to it.
3. Cashier for Canadians: CAD as an account currency, Interac or crypto, the published minimum deposit and withdrawal limits.
4. The affiliate programme behind the casino: we only place a button where the programme accepts Canadian players and has no record of unpaid or confiscated commissions on the industry watchlists we check.

How the order is set

We don't publish star ratings or "player scores" — we have no player votes to count. A game gets one point for each of the six checks above that the studio passes on its own site or in its official demo, and the page shows the result as a plain count, for example "5 of 6 checks". The missing point is always named next to the count. Most games lose the same one: the studio leaves minimum and maximum bets to each casino.

Casinos are not scored. They are ordered by how many of the page's games they carry, then by how many provinces they accept, then by the lower published minimum deposit. Games in comparison tables are ordered by the provider's RTP. A tie keeps alphabetical order.

What we can't check yet

Our checks are made from outside Canada through a VPN, so a cashier can show Canadians different methods than it showed us. Each page says what was checked and what wasn't in the author block, and the date moves only when a number is checked again.
